People who blog usually do so because they have a message that they want to get out to the world. For true bloggers, its usually not even about money but more so about an itching need to help people or show people an aspect of themselves.

I believe that almost every blogger starts off with the most beautiful intention, but most don’t ever get far because they’re not able to spread their message out on the crowded web. The trick to getting heard online is finding your “tribe”.

By now you probably have heard of the word “tribe” or “community” and know that you should have some sort of loyal following if you want to be successful at blogging. It’s the group of people who would read anything you write, buy any product you put out, and its a group of people that you collaborate with, share with, and help.

Finding your tribe can be difficult but is well worth the effort if you want to build a purposeful blog. Read these 5 easy tips on how to find your tribe.

How To Make People Come Back To Your Blog Wanting More & More

  1. Solve your audience’s problems

Believe it or not, if you’re blogging to help people, your blog should about people not about you. If you’re a coach that blogs about productivity, what are some of the real issues that your audience is having? Don’t just write about the issues you think they’re having, find out! Do polls, discovery calls, talk to people every day and get to know what they really want to hear.

  2. Create AMAZING content

Your blog posts have to be longer than 300 words and they have to solve an issue. I know you might be thinking, “I’m a lifestyle blogger. What issues am I solving?” If you blog about recipes, giving a bomb ass recipe for Super Bowl chili is solving an issue that they’re having since the Super Bowl is coming up. If you like to blog about how you save money by making 300 meals out of $100 worth of food, that’s a problem solved for stay-at-home mothers who are looking for non-monetary ways to contribute to their families’ financial wellbeing, while they also take care of their health, with nutritious food and even supplements from sites as https://tophealthjournal.com/ that really help with this. Get creative and think outside the box. You have solutions to offer your audience no matter what you’re blogging about. And don’t forget to always use amazing pictures whenever you can!

  3. Promote, promote, promote

Even as I write this post now, I have had my traffic decrease by 3-4x what it usually is just because I haven’t been keeping up my social media promos. It’s a LOT of work but you have to do it if you are a new blogger looking to build your audience. Here are a few easy blog promo tips:

    • Schedule some time once a week to schedule your social media posts
    • Create a “sharing” schedule for each blog post. Ex: I will promote my blog post to Twitter, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, personal Facebook page, and 3 Facebook groups on Friday
    • Install Revive Old Post to automatically share old blog posts on Twitter
    • Install Pinterest PinIt Button and make sure to put one “pin-worthy” image on each blog post to encourage readers to pin your content
    • Install the GetSocial sharing button to encourage people to share your content
    • Get involved in blog promotion Facebook groups and share your content on designated days.
  4. Collaborate with other bloggers

Having relationships with other bloggers is super important to your blog’s growth and success. Get in good with bloggers who are on the same blogging level as you and grow together. Share tips, talk often, and guest post on each other’s blogs. Create an online community, throw mastermind webinars with your blogging friends. If you all work together, you can grow your blogs much more quickly than if you worked alone!

  5. Join online communities and participate every day

I have to tell you, Facebook groups put my blog on the map! In the month that I’ve created my Facebook group, Blog Promo Community, I have already done my very first guest post, thrown a blogging challenge, grown my email list by hundreds of people, met many blogging friends, have a couple of amazing bloggers who are going to be guest blogging on my blog very soon, and learned so much about blogging! The list can go on and on guys! Go out an join 2-3 online communities and become active in them every day.

The bottom line is get to know people and promote your blog in a natural and organic way. If you’re blogging from the heart and you’re actually solving an issue for your audience, they will vibe with you and become some of your biggest fans! It’s such an amazing feeling to have someone tell you you made a difference in their lives no matter how small, and I honestly have to say that my favorite part of blogging is all the people I get to meet! It’s going to take time to build your blog’s audience this way but it’s so worth it!

Do you have a tribe of or a small community of online fans that follow you? How did you find them and what did you do to include them in your blogging world? Tell me in the comments below!
